Plaintiff Best Financial Corporation, doing business as Best Insurance Agency, Inc., sued defendant Lake States Insurance Company for breach of contract, alleging that defendant wrongfully withdrew plaintiff's authority to bind new business. Mediation resulted in an award in plaintiff's favor in the amount of $15,000; plaintiff accepted the mediation award, and defendant rejected it.
