I. INTRODUCTION

Under Alaska Civil Rule 69(d)(1), a judgment creditor who fails to obtain a writ of execution within five years after entry of judgment must show "just and sufficient reasons" before execution may issue. In the present case, B. Juline Magden appeals a superior court order allowing Alaska USA Federal Credit Union (AUSA) to execute on a judgment that was entered against her more than five years previously...
