Although the policy lapsed for nonpayment of premiums before Roeder died, his son, the policy beneficiary, asserts a right to recover the proceeds because the insurer, Metropolitan Insurance & Annuity Company, failed to provide a lapse notice required by the policy and the Nebraska...
