Michael Jefferson was tried and convicted by a jury in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi for committing the offense of aiding and abetting and carjacking in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 and 2119. Jefferson received a sentence of 168 months imprisonment, a three year term of supervised release, restitution of $2,865 and a $100 special assessment. He now appeals that conviction and sentence...
