Joe Louis Dansby was found guilty of two counts of capital murder and sentenced to death. We affirmed. Dansby v. State, 338 Ark. 697, 1 S.W.3d 403 (1999). After the judgment was affirmed, Dansby filed a petition for postconviction relief pursuant to Arkansas Rule of Criminal Procedure 37 in the trial court.
