This case requires us to decide whether a person who rents a vehicle and purchases an insurance policy as part of the transaction is entitled to underinsured motorist benefits against the rental agency equal to the total amount of liability coverage. In determining this, we are asked to decide whether a policy which is labeled as a "supplemental liability insurance" (SLI) policy is exempt under Washington's underinsured motorist (UIM) statute, RCW 48.22...
