OPINION

GRANT, Justice.

Danny J. Jester appeals his conviction on five counts of misdemeanor gambling charges, including gambling promotion by participating in the earnings of a gambling place and becoming a custodian of anything of value bet, keeping a gambling place, possession of a gambling device, and possession of gambling paraphernalia. He was convicted by a jury, and the trial court sentenced him to a $1,500 fine on each count and ninety days' confinement...
