Leanna Napier appeals her jury conviction for third-degree battery for which she was ordered to serve thirty days in the Benton County Jail and fined $1,000 with $500 suspended for twelve months. Appellant's sole point on appeal is that the trial court improperly instructed the jury in violation of the United States and Arkansas Constitutions's prohibitions against ex post facto laws. We agree and reverse.
