DONALD R. ROSS, Justice.

Harold Hislop, Jr. appeals from his conviction by a jury for the offense of murder. The jury assessed his punishment at seventy-five years' imprisonment and a $10,000.00 fine. Hislop raises a single issue on appeal, contending the trial court committed reversible error by admitting into evidence a letter containing an apparent confession to the crime because the State did not provide handwriting analysis or use other methodology...
