This matter comes on before this court on the plaintiffs' complaint seeking injunctive relief to prevent the defendants from implementing a redistricting plan for New Jersey's Senate and General Assembly districts. The plaintiffs allege that the redistricting plan violates the First, Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.
