¶ 1 The State petitions this court to reverse the decision of the court of appeals vacating Christopher Blaine Ostler's misdemeanor convictions. Ostler was charged with joyriding, a class A misdemeanor, and assault, a class B misdemeanor, in violation of sections 41-1a-1314(1) and 76-5-102 of the Utah Code respectively.
