John Meindl and Genesys Data Technologies, Incorporated (collectively Data) appealed from the district court's allowance of the bankruptcy claim of Genesys Pacific Technologies, Incorporated (Pacific). That claim is based on a default judgment Pacific obtained against Data in a Hawaii trial court.
