[¶ 1] In December 1999, a jury found appellant, Ivan Saiz, guilty of first-degree sexual assault in violation of Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 6-2-302(a)(iv) (LexisNexis 2001),1 and the district court sentenced appellant to a seven to fourteen year prison term.
