The defendant, Richard Cromlish, was convicted after a jury trial in Superior Court (Lynn, J.) of second degree murder. See RSA 630:1-b, I(a) (1996). On appeal, the defendant contends the trial court erred in denying him the ability to retain and call an expert witness at trial. We affirm.
