Appellant, Jimmy Matthews, was convicted in the Jefferson Circuit Court of several drunk-driving related offenses. The jury convicted him of one count of first-degree assault, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, DUI fourth offense, driving on a suspended license, and of being a persistent felony offender in the first degree.
