In a case of first impression in this state, we must decide whether the Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act bars appellant Compton's claims for contribution and indemnity against appellee Texaco, Inc. ("Texaco"). We must also decide whether Compton may assert a claim against Texaco for non-contractual, common law indemnity.
