A jury convicted Appellant Irving McKinney, Jr. of the offense of intentionally or knowingly causing serious bodily injury to a child under the age of fifteen.1 The specific manner and means alleged in the indictment and found by the jury were "by causing [the child] to contact a hot liquid."
