Plaintiff Diana Hibbert instituted this medical malpractice action against defendant Dr. Edgar C. Ransdell, M.D. After a jury trial, a verdict was entered in favor of defendant. Plaintiff appeals.

In early 1994, plaintiff was given a general physical exam by defendant. During that exam, defendant found a 6.9 centimeter cyst on plaintiff's right ovary. Defendant apparently advised plaintiff that in his opinion the ovary needed to be removed, and...
