The Boston Police Superior Officers Federation (Federation)1 appeals from a decision of a Superior Court judge vacating an arbitrator's award on the ground that it impermissibly intruded on the discretion of the police commissioner of Boston to make temporary appointments. We affirm the judgment of the Superior Court.
