A jury found appellant, Juan Torres, Jr., guilty of the offenses of intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid; found that he used a deadly weapon in the commission of these offenses; and assessed his punishment at ten years imprisonment for the intoxication manslaughter and one year imprisonment for the failure to stop and render aid.
