A jury found appellant, Jesse Hernandez a/k/a "Bumpy," guilty of engaging in organized criminal activity2 and murder3 and assessed his punishment at life imprisonment and a $5,000 fine for the organized criminal activity and fifty years imprisonment and a $5,000 fine for the murder.
