COWIN, J.

After a six-person jury trial in the District Court, the defendant was found guilty of violating the "no contact" provision of a G. L. c. 209A restraining order on April 21, 1999. He was acquitted on a separate charge alleging a violation of the same order on March 16, 1999. The defendant appeals.

The defendant asserts that he lacked adequate notice that the contacts that took place on April 21...
