Appellant, Tony Alan Ray, shot and killed Lisa G. Lewis in the course of burglarizing her home in Van Buren. A sixteen-year-old juvenile at the time of the crime, appellant was charged as an adult with capital murder, burglary, and theft of property, and he was sentenced by jury to life imprisonment without parole. On appeal, appellant argues that the trial court denied his motion for directed verdict based upon the insufficiency of the felony...
