In this personal injury action, the plaintiff, Michael Koffman, appeals the judgment of the circuit court limiting his recovery of medical expense damages to the amount he and his insurers paid.1 He contends that he is entitled to recover the reasonable value of the medical services rendered regardless of amounts paid by himself or his insurers.
