CYPHER, J.

The defendant appeals from his conviction by a jury of murder in the second degree, claiming that the prosecutor improperly vouched for the credibility of the principal Commonwealth witness during closing argument when he sat in the witness chair and repeated a portion of the witness's testimony. We conclude that the prosecutor's conduct, although inappropriate, did not amount to vouching for the witness's credibility.1
