A jury found that appellant Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company ("Nationwide") terminated appellees Manual Baralt and Juan Gonzalez-Perez ("Gonzalez") because of their ages, in violation of both the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634 ("ADEA"), and Puerto Rico Law 100, P.R. Laws Ann. tit. 29, §§ 146-51 ("Law 100"). The two men and their wives were awarded a total of more than $6 million in damages...
