INTRODUCTION

A jury convicted Appellant Tommy Trevino of the offense of murder and assessed his punishment at sixty years' confinement. In a single point on appeal, Appellant contends that the trial court erred in denying his request at the punishment phase of the trial for a jury instruction on sudden passion. We reverse and remand for a new punishment hearing.
