Plaintiff Beverly J. MacLeod ("MacLeod") brought this action to recover a balance on a promissory note owed by defendant Michael J. Dizazzo ("Dizazzo"). After a bench trial and the judge's general finding for MacLeod, judgment was entered against Dizazzo in the amount of $36,852.31. Upon motion by MacLeod, Dizazzo's subsequent appeal was dismissed as untimely. Dizazzo now appeals that dismissal pursuant to Dist./Mun. Cts. R. A. D. A., Rule 8C.
