¶ 1. J.C. Penney Life Insurance Company filed a complaint for interpleader against various parties to determine the proper beneficiary of a life insurance policy purchased by Kevin Brown. The Chancery Court of Montgomery County determined that the parents of the deceased were the proper beneficiaries.
