Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. ("Wal-Mart") seeks certiorari review of a judgment of the Court of Civil Appeals, which affirmed a judgment entered on a jury verdict against Wal-Mart in favor of Fannie Irby. Irby sued Wal-Mart, seeking compensation for injuries she sustained when she slipped and fell in spilled shampoo while shopping in the Selma Wal-Mart store.
