Charles Ray Crawford is before this Court appealing the judgment of the Lafayette County Circuit Court based on a jury verdict which found him guilty of aggravated assault after a four day trial. On May 21, 1993, the circuit judge sentenced Crawford to twenty (20) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
