STATEMENT OF CASE

On March 30, 1995, the defendant pled guilty to violating La. R.S. 14:60 relative to aggravated burglary. The court sentenced the defendant to serve six years at hard labor; however, the court suspended the sentence and placed the defendant on two years active probation. As a special condition of probation the defendant was ordered to pay the victim $846.00 in restitution. The court also ordered the defendant to serve six months...
