State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (State Farm) appeals a $9,130.901 judgment rendered against it in favor of Debra Hewitt on behalf of her minor daughter, Teasha Wilkerson. For the following reasons, we reverse the judgment and render judgment dismissing State Farm as a party defendant in the litigation.
