STATEMENT OF CASE

Defendant Kenneth Singleton was charged by bill of information with first degree robbery, and carjacking in violation of La. R.S. 14:64.1 and 14:64.2. Defendant pleaded not guilty at his arraignment. The State amended the bill of information reducing the charge on the second count to attempted carjacking, a violation of La. R.S. 14(27):64.2. The court found probable cause as to count two, and found the remaining defense...
