This case is before us on remand from the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Relator, Simon Hutchinson, and Perry Pooler were charged with four counts of first degree murder. Relator thereafter filed a motion to suppress a taped confession he gave to the police. Following a suppression hearing, the district court denied the motion, without reasons. Relator filed a writ application with this court seeking review of that ruling. In an unpublished decision...
