James Berry appeals the summary denial of his motion for postconviction relief filed pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850. Berry was found guilty of sexual battery and sentenced to life imprisonment. In his motion, Berry sought relief based on the alleged ineffective assistance of his trial counsel.
