The Chief Judge of the Superior Court, pursuant to D.C.Code § 23-704(e) (1996), ordered that appellant be extradited to the State of Maryland in response to a "retake warrant" issued by a Maryland Circuit Court judge and a subsequent extradition request made after appellant was arrested in the District of Columbia.
