MURRAY, Judge.

The State of Louisiana, through the Department of Social Services, appeals a trial court judgment finding the defendant, Michael Evans, in contempt of court, making his past due child support obligation executory, but failing to sentence him to a term of imprisonment. Following recent rulings of this court, we reverse and remand.
