Lenon McArthur, Jr. [McArthur] appeals his conviction and sentence for the crime of committing a lewd and lascivious act on J.D., a minor. McArthur, who is twenty-one years of age, argues his conviction should be reversed and a new trial ordered because the State's closing argument beseeched the jurors' sympathy, mocked his theory of defense, misstated the law, and interjected personal opinion in regard to J.D.'s credibility and truthfulness.
