The defendant, Christopher John Gage, was charged by grand jury indictment with three counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder, in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1 A(1) and La. R.S. 14:27. He pled not guilty to all counts, and after trial by jury, was found guilty of second-degree murder as charged on count two.
