[¶ 1] Michael Brewer appeals from the judgment entered in the Superior Court (Lincoln County, Marsano, J.) dismissing Brewer's legal malpractice complaint against Dennis Hagemann. Brewer alleges that Hagemann's representation of Brewer in a criminal case was negligent and caused Brewer's conviction and incarceration.
