Defendant-appellant, Jose Barajas, was convicted of first degree murder and two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm. He was sentenced to 34 years' imprisonment for first degree murder and 4 years' imprisonment for each count of aggravated discharge of a firearm, to be served consecutively.
