¶ 1. In October of 1996, Felton Martin, Jr. and Darrin C. Fox, Jr. were indicted in the Hinds County Circuit Court for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. The two cases were consolidated, and Martin and Fox were jointly tried and convicted by a jury on January 31, 1997. Martin was sentenced as a habitual offender, to serve 20 years pursuant to Miss.
