Thomas Henry Gemoets appeals his jury conviction for engaging in organized criminal activity by committing theft of over $200,000.00. Tex.Pen.Code Ann. § 71.02(a)(1) (Vernon 1994 & Supp.2000). The jury assessed his punishment at ten years' imprisonment and a $10,000.00 fine.
