The opinion of August 4, 2000, is withdrawn and the following is substituted therefor.

Frederick D. Woods was convicted of murder made capital because it was committed during the course of a robbery. Ala.Code 1975, § 13A-5-40(a)(2). The jury, by a vote of 10-2, recommended that Woods be sentenced to death. The trial court accepted the jury's recommendation and sentenced Woods to death...
