Keith Alan Perry was convicted of trafficking in cocaine, a violation of § 13A-12-231, Ala.Code 1975. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. The Court of Criminal Appeals, on September 22, 2000, affirmed the judgment of the trial court in an unpublished memorandum. Perry v.
