Sidney O. Griner was a truck driver employed by Charles G. Lawson Trucking, Inc. ("Lawson"). The Travelers Indemnity Company of Illinois ("Travelers") and Crawford & Company ("Crawford") administered the workers' compensation claims for Lawson. In August 1996, Griner sued Lawson, Travelers, and Crawford, alleging fraud, outrageous conduct, and contempt of court on the part of Travelers and Crawford related to the medical treatment he had received...
