On August 29, 2000, Michael Q. Spencer was charged by bill of information with armed robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:64. At his arraignment on September 5th he pleaded not guilty. The trial court found probable cause and denied the motion to suppress the evidence at a hearing on September 20th.
