FACTS

Brock J. Dore was an employee of Corey Freeman, who contracted with Jim Walter Homes, Inc., to construct homes. On or about June 28, 1999, while in the course of building a home under such contract, Mr. Dore allegedly injured his neck and left shoulder when he attempted to throw a piece of plywood over his head. Immediately following the accident, Mr. Dore went to the emergency room at Iberia Medical Center where he was initially diagnosed...
