OEA, Inc., appeals from the decision of the United States District Court for the Central District of California holding that the underlying patent infringement suit was exceptional, justifying an award of attorney fees to Special Devices, Inc. After first holding that OEA's U.S. Patent 5,404,263 was invalid under the on-sale bar of 35 U.S.C. § 102(b), Special Devices, Inc. v. OEA, Inc., 117 F.Supp.2d 989
